A fascinating adventure towards Tent Peak Climb, an enjoyable picturesque destination on the laps of massive Annapurna Himalaya base camp and beyond at the very rim of Annapurna sanctuary, where you will be encircled by amphitheatre of high snow capped peaks.

Tent Peak is also called Tharpu Chuli which stands at 5,663 m and 18,575 ft high, due to its unique shape and formation looking from the sanctuary and base camp it certainly appears as a rock and ice tent, although below and less 6,000 m but one of tough and challenging peak to tackle all the way to its summit top.

We have used the grade as PD + which 'per difficule' means walking on ice and glaciers with some technical effort to encounter on climb, the climb classification and grading used from French and Swiss Alpine Climbing System which is popular around worldwide on this type of alpine climb.

Tent Peak Climb located within beautiful Annapurna Sanctuary and beyond its Base Camp where our adventure starts from beautiful Pokhara, a popular touristic spot adorn with natural beauties situated beneath towering Annapurna Himalaya, where it peaks reflects on its pristine Phewa and Begnas Lakes.

Walk leads after a short drive heading into mid hills exploring traditional and cultural villages of Gurung tribe of people interwoven with Buddhism religion and then into lovely serene forest of tall rhododendron-pines-oaks-magnolia and fir tree lines, where in spring this whole country turns into magical natural garden when wild flowers in full bloom.

As the walk progress soon leaving the green forested areas for alpine and arctic zone within picturesque Annapurna Base Camp and Sanctuary enclosed within series of snow capped peaks where you can have excellent view of Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), Tharpu Chuli / Tent Peak (5,663 m), Gangapurna (7,455m-24,457ft) and Annapurna III (7,555m-24,787ft) to Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish-tail) and more.

After a pleasant rest and acclimatization day at ABC our adventure continues heading into pure wilderness covered with series of high peaks as the walk leads over moraine and glacier to set our first camps at the base of stunning Tent Peak.

The ascent is done after much preparations and practice climb and after being fully prepared our expert guide will lead and support you all to the summit top, where you feel in Great Spirit encircled by great range of snow-clad peaks.

After a marvelous and enjoyable with tough moment on the climb heading back to Pokhara on the same route for few days and then with lovely time in Jhinu ridge and village with refreshing hot spring our wonderful and remarkable adventure Tent Peak Climb completes with an exciting overland journey to Kathmandu.
